Kinmen fieldwork days: what visiting finance teams should expect

Many of our clients keep headquarters in Taipei yet schedule one or two fieldwork days in Kinmen. Travel and ferry timing matter; we build sample testing around arrival windows so finance leads are not waiting idle.

Bring printed or offline copies of the packs you already uploaded. Connectivity can be uneven, and auditors prefer not to pause substantive testing while a VPN reconnects.

Expect a structured day: morning sample selection, midday walkthrough of one high-risk control, afternoon factual clearance of draft findings. We leave evenings free so travelling teams can rest before return journeys.

If ferry schedules make a Kinmen visit impractical, we can observe settlement closes remotely and reserve on-site time for interviews that benefit from shared whiteboards and paper packs.
